what we offer

Espresso Drinks:

Lattes, cappuccinos….you know the drill. We could talk for hours about this stuff. Usually we’ll bring along some mocha and vanilla for those that like a little something sweet, but we don’t like to overdo it. A simple well made classic cappuccino is one of the greatest pleasures in life.

Hand-brewed Coffee:

Single Cup Pourover – Made to order and kinda cute. This is quite often how we make coffee at home.

Chemex – A rather elegant way to brew. Invented in 1941 this vintage coffee making system uses chemically bonded filters to produce one of the cleanest tasting cups you can get.

Aeropress – This little guy is fairly new on the coffee scene and has already gotten a lot of attention for how quick and easy it is to use. The general (if a little debatable) idea is to recreate the process inside of an espresso machine, but we think it’s more interesting and tasty when you play around with the method and recipe.

French Press – A well loved classic, the french press uses a full immersion method to create a beautiful mouthfeel and flavor profile.

Clever Coffee Dripper – A sort of hybrid between the french press and filtered pourover, the clever is another new little gadget that nerds like us are pretty excited about.

Vacuum Pot – You really have to see this in action. It’s an amazing siphon system that only takes a couple minutes, and the result is absolutely wonderful. Clean and crisp with no sediment, it’s especially suited to delicate african and central american coffees and a favorite of many coffee professionals.

Teas

White, green, oolong, black, cooked or raw puerh, and even blended herbal teas. We work closely with our tea guru to get the best of the best and usually have at least a couple on hand that we’re real excited about. We’re really growing in our knowledge and passion for tea as of late and we’re hoping to be able to pass some of that on.

Specialty Drinks

We approach each one of these from a gourmet chef’s perspective. The goal is not to drown everything in sugar or smother it in whipped cream (although we do love a good whipped cream), but rather to get people thinking about coffee in a way they may not haveĀ  before.

These are generally done on a special request basis, as they need a little more planning and require more ingredients, but we get pretty jazzed up about them, so don’t be shy in asking.
